Support overall objectives of the Energy division to ensure the effective delivery of the Energy service across the business.
All activities involved in servicing of clients for whom responsible including all forms of communication.
Ensuring exposures are accurately covered and all activities required are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
Preparing market submissions and placing documentation
Maintaining clear, accurate and comprehensive files reflecting the transactions undertaken and behalf of clients.
Inviting and monitoring renewal instructions
Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as from time to time be required
Managerial Responsibilities
Assisting in the development of junior members of staff via coaching, on-the-job training, checking and management of workflow
Ensuring workflow is actively managed interfacing with other areas within the energy Division including Broking & Processing.
Ensuring the team’s adherence to company procedures.
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in the Lloyds Insurance markets in broker houses in client facing roles (i.e. Senior Account Executive/Client Management)
Demonstrable experience of handling Energy books & business.
Solid Upstream/Downstream Energy knowledge and experience (Upstream advantageous)
Ability to operate individually (although with the wider support of the Energy division)
Prior mentoring/coaching to junior members of staff
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
A high level of accuracy in responding to a variety of queries
Excellent problem-solving skills with a flexible attitude.
CII qualified
Exposure to Global Energy clients.
