Our client, a market leading Reinsurance Broker has a new requirement for someone to work within its Global Casualty reinsurance team as Broker Support. Within this role, you will have access and exposure to a wide range of clients both global entities and London based businesses, you will actively participate in team, client and reinsurer meetings and gain experience from working with some of the leading professionals in our industry.
Ideally, out client is looking for candidates who have reinsurance casualty and professional liability experience.
This role presents a superb opportunity to learn and develop in reinsurance broking, with career pathway options through Broker Support, Contracts Specialism and Broking.
You will be responsible for coordinating placement support activities and delivering proactive, valued support within the reinsurance practice. Broker Support prompts and monitors key activities and tasks throughout the reinsurance placement in order to promote efficient and timely compliance with their best practice processes.
The nature of the role does require experience in Casualty reinsurance experience, and you will be actively engaged with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver excellent and efficient service to our clients.

You will be expected to :-
Assist with reviews of client renewal information.
Initiate the contract drafting process, updates and production of Final Contract Documentation.
Drive full-cycle use of the e-trading platform clients Marketplace, from market submission and quoting through to confirming reinsurer participations.
Assist brokers and prepare submissions.
Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information as necessary.
Liaise with reinsurers to obtain following lines on a placement and in response to queries or requests, in conjunction with brokers.
Wholesale broking into the London Market.
Maintain core placement files to ensure we evidence all best practice procedures and compliance requirements.
On boarding of new clients and markets.
Use of front-end broking systems.
Monitor and report on business metrics.
Build a strong relationship with our service team and an understanding of accounting, claims and proportional treaty administration.
Actively participate in team, client and reinsurer meetings.
Candidates wishing to apply must have:-
