A Team leader is required by our client, a leading global Lloyd’s Insurance Broker who specialise in Construction. Our client needs the very best talent to lead the US and Canadian efforts for the group and grow organically for the foreseeable future. Candidate wishing to apply should have come from a client facing role within the construction markets and to have had exposure to all aspects of the construction industry.
Our client is hoping to find candidate who have proven commercial and leadership skills that can add value to their current entrepreneurial and forward-thinking organisation as they are big advocates of working for ambitious companies and applying anyone’s competitive nature to overcome any challenging aspects of the job in hand.
As team Leader, you will be expected to lead a team of producers and executives focusing on North American Construction business, consisting of major projects, contractor annual programmes and placements for owners and developers covering a range of insurance products.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for increasing brokerage revenues
- Hold key relationships with a number of US and Canadian wholesalers and retailers
- Led the team for organic growth in 2022 and beyond
- Managing and reporting the budget setting process
- Liaison between senior executives and associates within the team
- Key driver for several programmes and initiatives within the division
